Lighting issues!

A big problem at the moment - lighting!   There is a distinct lack of it and you would think with all that white stuff it wouldn't be a problem.  This is the best shot I can get of the quilting at the moment.  On the whole I am really pleased with it, thread was great and the pattern worked - sort of anyway.  Set off for work yesterday and only got half a mile from home and then had to turn round and come home, nearly had to abandon the car and walk at one point as well.  An hour and three quarters for less than a mile, crazy!

Theory and practise

Ok, so I went with the King Tut in the end.  The colour was perfect  just what I wanted, and it is great through the machine, which always makes life easier.  This was my practise run with pen and paper, and I was quite pleased with the look of that.  The actual quilting of it though was another thing.  I started out alright, and then I got abit confused and it seemed to become something different, and then I got a grip of myself and it came back to this again. 

Good job its mine!!

Auditioning.

You know that feeling?  All that fabric  and I still don't have the right colour !! 

Audition.

Just auditioning threads for a little quilt that's on the frame.  Threads from Martha, three options to choose from.  And then I have to decide what to quilt on it.   Its all decisions round here!!!
